WebAug 17, 2012 · - With Cura 12.08 I seem to also connect, firmware uploaded, limit switch tests all good but when when sending a print the extrusion head does not heat. I can see that it was hot and the temperature is dropping from the heatup in Printrun. Must be something very simple I'm missing. - Windows 7 - Cura 12.08. Thx for the help

WebNot sure why it would even be trying to go that far to the right z safe home is at 165,165. I have set to 344 because the inductive probe is on the left side of the toolhead, and if I have it lower I was getting out of range when doing the mesh probe. Could this have to do with extruder offsets in Cura? I couldn't find any offset settings in Prusa. It does display 'Heating Extruder' on the top banner - but does not wait for the temperature to reach needed or any higher level. You will need to put the M104 M140 later in the start codes else cura will not heat the bed/extruder.
