Method: Forty-five patients with stage II (n = 21) and IIIA (n = 24) Kienböck's disease were included in the study. WebIndication for Capitate Shortening The ideal scenario for capitate shortening is a patient who has a lunate that is intact (Lichtman and Bain grade B1) that should be protected.
